Good day everyone. For today's blog we will be discussing about solute and solvent. I just want to to fill you in about the information and meaning of Solute and Solvent. Solute is the minor component in a solution, dissolved in the solvent. While solvent is the liquid in which a solute is dissolved to form a solution.
So as you can see we did prepared 3 solute and solvent seen in our household, for our solute we do have our salt, sugar and chocolate powder. Then for our solvent we do have water, boiling water and milk.
A solution is a solute and solvent combined.
An unsaturated solution consists of solute completely dissolved in solute. If no additional solute can dissolve in a solution, that solution is said to be saturated. Solubility depends on temperature.
The concentration of these 3 solutions are
half dilute and half concentrated.

What are the type of solutions?

A saturated solution is a chemical solution containing the maximum concentration of a solute dissolved in the solvent.
A supersaturated solution contains more dissolved solute than required for preparing a saturated solution and can be prepared by heating a saturated solution, adding more solute, and then cooling it gently. Excess dissolved solute crystallizes by seeding supersaturated solution with a few crystals of the solute.
On our boiling water mixed with the other 3 it will be unsaturated and it will dissolve quick.
On our normal water mixed with the other 3 it will be saturated and we will see other particles of the solute not being dissolved in our solvent.

Solution is important to have knowledge with because its the study of mixtures and foods and it is also good for our health.
